Closing Statement

A closing statement is a descriptive document drafted by the representative of the buyer in which various details of the financial elements of the transaction are described. These elements should include accounts of commissions, loan fees, insurances and use of escrow services. A closing statement can also be called HUD-1 statement or settlement sheet.
