IRA Qualification Requirements

In order to be eligible for a tax exempt Individual Retirement Account individuals must not have an affiliation with a third party retirement plan set-up by their employer or if they do contribute to other plans then they must comply with certain income requirements. Individuals, which do not meet these requirements, can freely contribute to an IRA but their contribution will not be deducted from their taxable income.
