Asset Management Account

An asset management account is a bank account or a brokerage account that performs a multitude of functions. A asset management account can have a checking function attached to it, allows for credit cards or debit cards, can transfer funds exceeding a specified amount into a second account and can be used for margin loans. This type of account is also called, central assets account.
